Through documentary photography at markets in Merseyside, this editorial mock up has been made to feature in Vice titled ‘Bargain Britain’. The pound hitting its lowest rate in 168 years post Brexit influenced this subject. With the minimum wage not matching the national living wage, it is now more than ever a necessary time to grab a bargain. Families and individuals have been seen struggling to make ends meet, being forced to avoid the high street stores but then encouraging people to turn to markets.

With the focus being on Liverpool, a pile of discarded football kits, scarfs and flags at Widnes Flea Market that have been accumulated over the years influenced the styling in some of the photographs with the biggest divide of the city, the two football clubs Liverpool and Everton.
